Promise Land is the name of our program for Children in Junior Kindergarten trhrough Grade 4.  It is ordinarily run as a regular part of our Sunday Services.   We use Kid Connection, an innovative curriculum provided by Faith Alive Resources that will keep your children excited about learning  how God's truth fits into their lives.

During the Summer months (July - August), Promise Land children will remain in the auditorium with the adults for the entire Sunday Service.  Activity Packs filled with crafts, crayons, and other fun stuff are available for Promise Land kids upon arrival on Sunday mornings!

What is the Promise Land experience?

• A large group time that may include a drama, short video, cool song, or Bible story.
• A smaller group experience where the children get to discuss the Bible story, pray together, play a game, or make a craft.  Most of all they will get a great opportunity to feel included and get to know other kids.

When and Where is Promise Land held?

Children at this age will be invited to participate in the first part of the weekend Service with their families in the auditorium. They will then be dismissed with the Promise Land Team and go to Room 2 in the Forest Heights Community Centre where they will be picked up by you once the service is over.

How are you invited to participate?

We understand that sometimes kids feel uncomfortable in new situations.  You're welcome to visit Promise Land with your child until they feel comfortable attending on their own.
