One of our stated goals as a church is to be an intentionally intercultural church. We want to reflect the wonderful diversity that is a part of our city and be intentional about that. As God literally is bringing the nations to Canada, we as a church want to reflect the passion of his heart to embrace and include those who are coming.
Check here for a short introduction to how the fabric of the GTA (Toronto) is becoming a wonderful diverse tapestry because of immigration. In much the same way it is our desire to be a part of what God is doing in this regard in the Kitchener/Waterloo region of the province.
With that goal in mind, as a local church in K/W, we are working alongside other community agencies in our city in helping develop wholistic programs that aim to come alongside immigrants/refugees in our region, empowering them to become healthy citizens of our community.
Our developing Intercultural Connections Ministries are run by volunteers at The Journey . You can contact any of the various ministry leaders listed below for more information about any of the ministries or contact our church office for more details.

Transportation to/from Sunday Worship
We recognize the difficulty for many who don't own their own vehicle to be able to attend Journey Sunday Services. If you would like to attend Sunday Worship at The Journey and need a ride please contact us and we'll be happy to make arrangements for you. If you would like to provide transportation to those who need a ride to our services please contact us. We meet at the Forest Heights Community Centre which is located one block west of the Highland Hills Mall Bus Terminal (Fischer Hallman/Queens Blvd). Many GRT buses connect to this terminal. Contact our church office for more information about getting to a Journey Worship Service.
